There are so many interesting places that you can visit. One of them is Untung Jawa Island (mean Lucky Java Island).

It is located in north of Java Island. How do we get there? Don’t worry if we don’t have private car, there are public transportation which has been provided. All of kind public transportation are very cheap.

Here list the direction to go Untung Jawa Island which public transportation:

From Jakarta, capital City of Indonesia, you have to go to place called Pintu Air 2, in Tangerang, Banten.

After that, you find Elf car and go to Teluk Naga, Kampung Melayu, Tangerang.
In the last stop, you have to find the white carry public transportation that pick up you to Tanjung Pasir.
From Tanjung Pasir, you get a traditional ship to across Java Sea for about 15 minutes to Untung Jawa Island

There are some destination in Untung Jawa, such as Mangroves Lagoon, Camping Ground, Sentigi Beach, Monument of Arung Samudra, Amiterdam Beach and Sakura Japanese Beach.

Untung Jawa Island doesn’t only for tour and travel but also for fishing by traditional fisherman. Untung Jawa is include in Jakarta Government Province. Because near with capital City, the island have complete facilities, like Health Center, Police Office, Government District Office, Playground, Elementary, junior and high school, and Library.

The children can play in playground park Untung Jawa. There are tree House, swing, Park, and Stone Path for Foot Massages. People can walk in there to make their body healthy. If they are not fit, they will feel their foot sick like stabbed by a needle.

The area of Untung Jawa is small, you can around this island with bicycle about 30 – 60 minutes. How can we get bicycle in there? Don’t worry, there is a place renting bicycle. You can ride the bicycle all of the interesting place in Untung Jawa Island. While ride, you can take picture and enjoy the view and every corner of Untung Jawa Island. There is no main street in Untung Jawa Island, just street made from paving block. So it is absolutely no car there, just bicycle and motor cycle. Safe and enjoy for ride there. Unfortunately the street busy with walking people. Be careful and you have ring the bell all of your journey.

The other activities, you can snorkeling near Rambut Island (mean Hair Island). Rambut Island is empty, there is no people live there. With clean water you can see crabs, fish, sea cucumber and coral under sea. It is good enough.

The other activities, you can play banana boat or donut boat in the beach. But it is not for kids, too dangerous. May your children can swimming in the beach, if necessary bring buoy tires for their. They will happy playing and swimming in the beach. How about waves? It is not too big, because there are Java Sea around this island.

After have many activities, we will tired and must hungry, isn’t? There are so many vendors food. Of course Indonesia food will provided like noodles instant, fried rice, meatball and others. Especially of course seafood and coconut drinks you have try. Fish, shrimp, squid, are very delicious, either grilled, sweet, sour taste or cook with oyster sauce.

If you want to stay overnight, there are many places you can stay, even there are not hotel but it is quite enough to stay some night. Of course there are have good accommodation like AC or fan, hot/cold water and bathroom. Do not hesitate to stay in Untung Jawa Island.
