Bali is island that also called God Island, located in Indonesia. It is very famous island in the world. Domestic tourism and international tourism are made Bali as one of their main destination. There are so many wonderful places in Bali. And of course is balanced with complete accommodation. Starting from backpacker until five stars hotel are available. I and my workmates have vacation to Bali several times ago.

We departed from Soekarno Hatta airport Tangerang and arrived in I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport Denpasar Bali. Their both are international airport.
The flight need one hour. We spent about two night and three days in bali.

We stayed in hotel near Kuta. What a wonderful experience enjoy the famous island in the world. We went to some places, but I will describe only 8 places. Check it out.

1. Dream Land Beach

As an island, Bali have many beautiful beach. One of them is Dream Land beach. It has white sand. International tourists usually sunbathing on the Dream land beach. Sometimes they are surfing because it has big waves. What about us? Absolutely, we were not surfing and make our skin tanned, it is enough dark…. ha ha ha. We were playing water and enjoy the view of the beach. It was good. We were laughing, take picture, and playing such as children. We were forget all of problem at the moment, at least make our brain relax.

2. Uluwatu Temple

Almost people of Bali profess Hindu. No wonder if there a lot of Temple throughout Bali. Even in almost house there are place of worship or little Temple, usually in front of house, in the corner of the front yard. There is a famous temple in Bali, called Uluwatu Bali. It is holy place. The temple is located in top of the cliff. It is very wonderful view. Silent places and cold air make our heart comfortable, peace and calm down. To visit Uluwatu Temple, we had to pass the forest by walking. The visitor must wear neat and cover clothes. And we wrapped by special fabric. It is forbidden for woman while have menstruation to enter the temple. The special when we passed the forest we can see many monkeys. Monkeys are animals that respected in Bali. The monkeys are gentle to visitor. They also have swimming pool special for monkeys.

3. Bedugul

One places in Bali that have cold air and located in highland is Bedugul. One of special things here is lake. There is lake in highland. And the other special because in the middle of the lake there is temple, called Ulun Danu temple. It is also holy place, until now this temple be used as places to worship. Mostly, tourism visited Bedugul besides enjoy the situation of Bedugul, they are have lunch. There are some restaurant there. When we visited Bedugul, the main destination were restaurant. Usually there are buffet restaurant. They are provided many kind of food, international food, like western food, Chinese food, and of course Bali traditional food like Lilit Satay (unique satay from Bali. We had lunch there. Very delicious having lunch there, while enjoy the view of lake. There are so many groups of tourism by bus, or private car to have lunch in Bedugul. So if you want have special lunch, don’t forget to make reservation.

4. Kuta Beach

Like the other island, Bali have much coastline. The unfortunately of Bali, there are so much beautiful beach we can visited. One of them is Kuta beach. It has white sand. Kuta beach is favorite place to enjoy sun rise and sun set. Few tourist have surfing in this beach. Very easy to get there. There are many hotel near Kuta. So to go to Kuta Becah just need walking from hotel. Walking along the coast, see bluesky, listening to the waves, at the same time breathe fresh air from the sea is very happy vacation. Recommended beach to tourism who visited Bali.

5. Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK Bali)

One more unique destination in Bali is Garuda Wisnu Kencana. What we can see there? There are four places we had visited. As the name, we can see Wisnu statue and Garuda Statue. The statues are very big. It is about 20-metre statue of Vishnu. There are also places we can see Bali traditional dance. The show is about 45 minutes. We enjoyed the show and after the show is over we took the picture with the dancer. And the last place we had visited in GWK is The Lotus Pond Area. We enjoyed the landscape which the wall is made from rock, the natural wall of rock like be sliced. It’s look amazing. Because the place is spacious and flat, tourists can exploring the area by scooter.

6. Jimbaran

Jimbaran is a named for one of beach in Bali. We could not playing water in this beach, because there are many rock and coral. The view of this beach is traditional ship from local fisherman. The most important in Jimbaran is we had dinner in the beach, no roof, outer, not in the room, outdoors. While enjoy sun rise, we ate sea food, coconut drink, and also we could see the traditional Bali dance in stage. All variant menu is same in all restaurant in Jimbaran. The different is the price. It is recommended have dinner with groups, family and friends. But for the couple its make forgotten romantic dinner.

7. Pandawa Beach

The seventh place we had visited is Pandawa. It is also one of beautiful beach in Bali. Why is it called Pandawa? Because it is devoted to Son of Pandu, King of Hastinapura Kingdom according to Mahabharata Stories. There are five brothers of Pandawa, Yudistira, Bima, Arjuna, Nakula and Sadewa. There are statues of them on the edge of street toward to the beach. Almost tourist have sunbathe in Pandawa Beach. We had enjoy the blue sea of Pandawa Beach.

8. Tanah Lot

The other famous temple in Bali is located in the area called Tanah Lot. It is very beautiful landscape. There are many temple in Bali. Tanah Lot is famous because of the temple on the top of coral in the ocean. When the ocean low tide, we can go to temple by walking pass the ocean. But when the ocean high tide, we cannot reach the temple. There are park in Tanah Lot and shady trees. The visitor forbidden to swimming in beach because it has big waves and corals. It is enough to enjoy the landscape of Tanah Lot.
