Firework Light

Art is an expression of human being that never ending, always new, have progress and innovation. We knew the art generally like music, acting, dancing, theater, art painting, fine art, literary art. In all era, human having art, in all of continent. Mostly the remaining of art in the past is about painting, statue, building, inscription, and the other.  In the primordial era, we found art painting from primordial man in the cave. They drew about animals, palm print and others. It was very simple and traditional. What about art in this modern era? It is helped by high technology. In the past, we just painting with water color or oil paint on the canvas but now there are many ways to make painting.

They can make painting with computer, piece of paper or stuff, henna, and others. Likewise about acting or drama, in the past we just watched drama in the stage or theater, but with television founded, there are movie and video to keep all of drama.

One of the art visual is video mapping. It is used projector to show the video on the specific place, like stage, the show, wall, or building. Video mapping be equipped with music, narration and stories, so the audience will catch the meaning from the creator of video mapping. It is not easy work to make video mapping. It is must group projects that need budgets and hardworking of team members to get maximum result.  The first things to make video is survey a place that used as screen of projector. And then measure the area and the distance from screen to projector. The detail of screen is need to sketch, to match with the video. The light from video will be projected to the screen. It will produced illusion from light. It is very beautiful. 

Almost every year in Yogyakarta, Indonesia held Video Mapping Show. Once, I saw in this video below. It held in BNI 46 Building, near Malioboro Street. It is called Project Downtown Gedung BNI 46 Yogyakarta Video Mapping. The building is used as a government bank. It is about 5 minutes show. When video mapping showed, it was dark, all of lamp turned off, so we could see the lighting clearly. With blue back ground the first thing we saw firework. Then colorful rectangle and circle passing in the screen. Suddenly the color of building is changed colorful, domination with yellow. After the colorful gone, the building become dark and the light line is sketch the edge of building. It showed the lamp of the city. Light is formed like white foam fly in column from bottom to up until changed become brown foam until disappear and the light turned off. And the light changed like blue and white waves move from bottom to up. It is showed that Yogyakarta have beautiful beach. Then many modern build in Yogyakarta that have hot weather, it is showed by the white cloud move from right to left on the top of modern building. Wait wait, it is not only cloud but it is like white paragliding or big white kite. Because in Jogjakarta there are so many Air Show like Parachutting held. The next scene is greeting Welcome to Jogya on flying banner brought by Gatotkaca, one of the characters in Wayang (Java Puppet Show). Wanna see more, check this video.
